You know that moment when winter decides to flex its frosty muscles? Yeah, Norway is currently in full snow-dumping, wind-howling mode, and I’ve had just about enough of it. Lucky for me, my wonderful boyfriend (a true hero, if you ask me) planned the ultimate escape: an all-inclusive trip to Porto Santo! We’ll be staying at Hotel Vila Baleira, and let me tell you, I am ready to swap snow boots for flip-flops and wool scarves for sunshine.

We’ve got two walking tours lined up, and I’m so curious to see what surprises they hold. Maybe we’ll wander through the island’s charming streets, soak up the history of Vila Baleira, or stumble upon a hidden gem.

Walking tours are perfect for slow travelers like us—no rushing, no worrying about maps, just letting a guide show us the best spots while we ooh and ahh at the views. I might even pack my notebook for some travel journaling because, let’s be honest, this place is going to inspire me.

Bikes + Beach = Best Combo Ever 🚲🏝️

One of the perks I’m most excited about is borrowing bikes from the hotel. I can already picture us pedaling along Praia do Porto Santo, with the ocean breeze in our hair and the golden sand stretching for miles.
